Family estate item. Authentic antique Egyptian signet ring in solid silver of some kind. Best guess is 800 to 900 parts per 1000. Completely non-magnetic & stands up to 18K gold acid.

Rare & unique Egyptian signet ring. These often had a symbol representing the ring's owner, & were pressed into wax seals as a sort of signature.
This ring presents a highly detailed lobster motif/ cartouche.
There appear to be some marks on the inside of the band, as highlighted in the photos. I can't make them out.
Currently size 7, but the band is open & widely adjustable. The band is out of round (easily rectified by your local jeweler).
Weight: 5.75 grams.
