One of the songs on The _Underscore is an eponymous tribute to the great keyboardist and producer Bob James. This 10" version is a limited promo release with drums by rock/hip hop/jazz veteran Daru Jones, well known for his work with Jack White. B-side is a percussion-less mix. Recorded in 2018 and released in 2019, this record marks the debut of Ben Kane as JMI mix engineer. Ben and Steve Mandel had overlapped as assistant engineers at Electric Lady Studios in 2003-04.
