1970s Silk Brocade Lined Overdress Qipao Sz Petite Fashions By Park Seoul Korea

Beautiful Burgundy, White and Silver Silk Brocade Lined Overdress Qipao Style, Custom Made Fashions By Park, Seoul Korea. This over-dress was made for my mother in 1971-72 when we lived in Seoul. It is designed with a slit on both sides that comes up to the ribs, so it is normally worn with a pair of silk pants that are narrow at the ankle (pants not included). The collar is a classic Nehru oriental style, the sleeves are 3/4 length below the elbow. The front opening is hook and loop plus snaps. The dress size is petite small: neck size 6 in across ( x2= 12"), chest size 15 in across (x2= 30"), waist size 13 1/2 in across (x2= 27"), hip size 18 in across (x2= 36"), neck to top of sleeve 6 1/2 in, sleeve length from shoulder 21 1/2 in, shoulder to shoulder 17 in, shoulder at neck to hem 54 in, ad waist to hem 37 inches. Note there is some running of burgundy color into the white areas, which I photographed in the close up photo of the silk brocade; it is not very noticeable.
